Old Mutual restructure to adopt Quilter branding

For many clients who hold the Old Mutual bonds (previously Skandia), with the forthcoming restructure of the Old Mutual Group, the International arm based in the Isle of Man will shortly become ‘Quilter International.’  This will only take place however after the managed separation has been completed later in 2018.  For those clients who also have access to the Old Mutual Wealth platform via their offshore bond, this will be re-branded to the ‘Quilter Wealth Solutions platform.’  More than likely however, like we have done in the past throughout many client meetings, despite all the name changes, we will probably still refer to your policy as Royal Skandia !!  Old habits die hard………

Importantly, with the forthcoming changes, clients can rest assured that their policies are well managed in a strong regulated jurisdiction, other than a change in name there will be no other changes or increased costs, the platforms will remain in place as they are with the same functionality but the statements will begin to look slightly different in the latter half of 2018.  Also important to note that the people in the Isle of Man, despite all the name changes, are still the same people that we have been working with over the last 20 years and with whom we have, and will continue to have, built up a good rapport in order to ensure we can give our clients a good service and cost effective structures.
