Rachel Reid (Director)

With over 25 years of experience in financial planning, I’ve had the privilege of helping Irish clients create financial clarity and confidence, so they can live the life they truly want—both now and in the future. My work is guided by core values that matter deeply to me: integrity, clarity, empathy, and genuine care for the people I work with.

In February 2024, I became a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), the global gold standard in financial planning. This achievement reflects my personal commitment to professionalism, ethical standards, and lifelong learning—principles we live by at Opes Financial Planning.

I specialise in working with SME business owners and professionals across Leinster, using our six-stage planning process and innovative tools to help clients identify what’s most important to them—and then build a personalised plan to achieve it. I stay alongside them on the journey, adjusting and refining the plan as life evolves, so their financial future stays aligned with their goals and values.

I also have deep experience in advising non-domiciled individuals relocating to or from Ireland, helping them structure their investments and pensions appropriately. This includes advising on UK QROPS and other overseas pension transfers, always tailored to the lifestyle they envision.

Outside of work, I live a full and busy life as a mum to three wonderful daughters. I understand first-hand the importance of balance—and I try to model the same work-life harmony we encourage for our clients. I cherish time spent with family and friends, especially around a shared meal (I have a real love of food and cooking!). The simple things bring me the most joy—time in nature, a good conversation, and caring for my wellbeing through yoga, Pilates, and meditation. These daily rituals help me stay grounded in what matters most: connection, simplicity, and living with purpose.
